Another great selection of images Jane 🙂 I loved San Francisco and you remind me how much I’d like to come back some day. That shot of the egret and Golden Gate gives a very different perspective on that much-photographed bridge!

Hi Sarah, Hopefully, you’ll be back again soon. Glad you like the egret shot– they’ve done a fabulous environmental watershed project bringing that area back to its original glory. Also, adding a wonderful viewing area above in the Presidio designed by the same architect who did the NY Highline. Progress! Glad you enjoyed these- thanks very much.

💖 the final shot, Jane. I like how the the scene can be separated into four distinct planes, and how these complement each other and merge to form the overal view.

Jane, I love these quite unusual views of SF, not being shot through a tourist eye. Thank you for always sharing your eye behind the lens. I my self am a bit behind with posting, because I haven’t travelled anywhere since a while.

The City on the Bay… it certainly does take a piece of your heart and never lets it go! What treasures these fantastic images are to take you back to the time when you were there. That first shot through the vertical cables of the bridge is simply marvelous! Then again, each and every image tugs at some memory stored in my brain. I think I need to go look at your Golden Gate portfolio now. Thanks so very much for sharing these.

Although I flew into SF when visiting my brother in 1978, we spent no time in the city so all this is so informative and beautiful, Jane. Who wouldn’t feel the peace in that morning shot?

Hi Steve, Well, you are certainly due for another visit to the City by the Bay. Early morning photo walks by the Golden Gate would be your jam. 😊 Thanks so much!

I am sure they would be as well as another trip to Yosemite. I am sure my brother would welcome another visit. He got me listening to streaming KRUSH radio so maybe I’ll hear enough advertising of restaurants and activities to make me decide getting in a metal tube a being 35,000 feet aloft is worth it. 😀
