  12. Another great selection of images Jane 🙂 I loved San Francisco and you remind me how much I’d like to come back some day. That shot of the egret and Golden Gate gives a very different perspective on that much-photographed bridge!

    • Hi Sarah, Hopefully, you’ll be back again soon. Glad you like the egret shot– they’ve done a fabulous environmental watershed project bringing that area back to its original glory. Also, adding a wonderful viewing area above in the Presidio designed by the same architect who did the NY Highline. Progress! Glad you enjoyed these- thanks very much.

  16. 💖 the final shot, Jane. I like how the the scene can be separated into four distinct planes, and how these complement each other and merge to form the overal view.

  18. Jane, I love these quite unusual views of SF, not being shot through a tourist eye. Thank you for always sharing your eye behind the lens. I my self am a bit behind with posting, because I haven’t travelled anywhere since a while.

  23. The City on the Bay… it certainly does take a piece of your heart and never lets it go! What treasures these fantastic images are to take you back to the time when you were there. That first shot through the vertical cables of the bridge is simply marvelous! Then again, each and every image tugs at some memory stored in my brain. I think I need to go look at your Golden Gate portfolio now. Thanks so very much for sharing these.

  30. Great captures of the SF views. I love the ‘Sittin’ on the Dock’. It is such a good place to watch those yachts in the early evening. The woman and her companion dog on the dock with those yachts just fill in your imagination of being there yourself.
