Thanks so much, Ruth. I’m a walk around serendipity kind of photographer when in the city although some favorite places, like the Golden Gate, I set up and hang around for a while. Which reminds me of a favorite quote: “Of course it’s all luck.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson 😊

One of my favorite places on Earth ~ and whenever I try to describe Big Sur I know my words fail to do it justice… but these photos, perfect. And the words of Robert Frost highlights not just the feeling of Big Sur but the feeling of many around the world: “Freedom lies in being bold.”

You know … I think this is what George Costanza was hoping for when he spoke of serenity nowwwwwww! I think this is where he wanted to be and what he wanted to picture but somehow didn’t quite get there. Fog Curl and McWay Falls are especially awesome and make me wish I was there to recharge and hang out with serenity 🙂 thanks for the pics!

So many perfect photographs, Jane, there’s no question that the person behind the camera loves this place. I like the drama of the first image and the sweeping simplicity of the second one very much. The colors in the moonrise photo are lush and interesting. The Pfeiffer Arch photo below it is one of my favorites – those rounded rocks, the kelp curving over them, and the colors and texture of the sand are an exquisite setting for the arch and again, the color palette is really beautiful. “Fog Curl” has a classic old black and white look, really nice. I hope the kids in “Beach Time” know how lucky they are, even if they only visited once. It’s such a special place on this earth, as you have shown.

Wonderful post of many seascape pictures. I have wide swing of moods going from one picture to another. Some are very calm to look and some are very active and somewhat scary 🙂
