Not really as yet Jane. We’re still in full lockdown and the figures are only going down slowly, thanks to the new more transmissible variant. But the one good thing is that our vaccine rollout is going quite well 🙂

Love rain on a window. My shots never come out this clear. Did you use a phone or camera?

Thanks, Storyteller. I made a project of different effects on rainy windows. Fun to do. I shot this with my Fuji XT-2 and a prime lens. Focusing on the raindrops and setting a pleasing aperture are key.

Wonderful, Jane! Agave Pearls captured my heart. ❤ After the Rain was an optical illusion until I saw the human and got the scale right in my head. 🙂 And I agree with Roger Miller. Rainy days can be happy days.

Another outstanding collection, Jane. I love the ones when you captured drops. Definitely capturing a moment in time. Not sure what it is, there is something about Tree Impression that I really like. Also, great timing because I have a Rain collaboration next Saturday with one of the commenters above. Nope – not Jude – but she is in the future.

Really beautiful, Jane, every single one. I like seeing the jogger at the end…the variety of subjects, from the morning papers to raindrops on a succulent leaf and then a window…those leaves all stuck to the pavement with their stems pointing up…the beautiful colors, full of rain-giving life…there’s no doubt that the maker of these photographs was grateful for the rain. It shows and this is a beautiful photographic essay. It makes me want to fly down there and take a walk with you. 😉

Love this collection Jane! Especially Clouds Parting, agave, and last drop. I’m one of those people who feel the rain. Living in Van if you only walked on fine days you wouldn’t walk all winter. I love the days when there’s a heavy rain and I get to see the little creek at the bottom of the gully a raging river. Fun!
