“Come senators, congressmen
Please heed the call
Don’t stand in the doorway
Don’t block up the hall
For he that gets hurt
Will be he who has stalled
The battle outside ragin’
Will soon shake your windows
And rattle your walls…
For the times they are a changin’ “

Already with that one quote of Biden’s the world is changing. And it is sorely needed. America was on the brink of something awful. That one quote has so many layers and holds much promise. Beautiful photographs to accompany the words. The birds in flight my eyes rested on for quite some time. Thank you for posting.

Thank you, Amanda. Words matter and Biden’s speech exuded empathy, hope and character. Something that we have been lacking for four years. Your supportive words from afar are greatly appreciated and it was very apparent that the world was watching and cheering.

No longer the joke of the world. We do indeed cheer from afar. Now to get rid of our own Trump like character.

A wonderful celebration of good tidings and hope for the future, Jane. The words “He won” came out of someone’s mouth today but more followed that is frustrating. However…we just have to weather the next @two months. I think most of us would like to jump for joy. 🙂

Like those Kiawah photos, Jane.
A new day dawning, I certainly we will have one on that front. I believe there is more that binds us together as a nation than divides us. For certain, our current political divisions run deep. Most unfortunate, it has led to lost friendships and family relations. Some will see the new dawn with a measure of angst. I can understand it. I have friends in both camps, with “you are either for us or against us” viewpoints. If we remain cordial and respectful, moving ahead will be easier. The middle ground is quite expansive and accommodating.
How much leftover Halloween candy do you have? I picked up some more on final clearance, namely candy corn. 🙂

Thanks so much, David. It was nice revisiting my Kiawah images- glad you enjoyed.
The message last night of healing and civility was clear -hopeful the angry division in our country will dissipate. It will certainly be hard work for our leadership.
Ha- no trick or treaters here! I don’t trust myself with bags of candy around. Especially Snickers. 🙂
