~Maya Angelou

Fantastic 👌💚
I’m glad you enjoyed, Burcum. Thanks very much.
Beautiful
Thank you, La Donna. Much appreciated. 😊
An inspiring start to the week Jane, a week in which “hope” is what is on all of our minds. Thank you.
Anyone who doesn’t take truth seriously in small matters cannot be trusted in large ones either…!!
True words!
Be sure you put your feet in the right place, then stand firm… I’ll like to share ideas with you if you don’t mind!!
Thanks very much, Andrew. Our hoping paid off! (sorry I missed this earlier). Appreciate your warm wishes, as always. 🙂

obrigado, Robert.
Ahhh Jane…. such uplifting thoughts and images in this time when it’s needed so much! Love the graceful curl of unfurling. Followed by those bright eyes. They can’t help but bring joy and hope. And courage.
BTW… don’t know if you need to know this, but Eric calls our “Awaitings” Angry Panthers. Ours have turned to seed. They seem to be the Official Town Flower of Bandon.
Those nesting Herons are yet another reason to hope. Every image provides that needed measure of hope and cheer and courage.
Interesting how we turn to such precious images to help us through the coming days. Thank you for yours, my friend.
Thank you so much, Gunta. Glad these brought a bright spot of hope to your day. That means a lot to me.
I am sure it was you who taught me “angry panthers” to remember agapanthus one time when I posted one and misidentified it. Your trick helped me and I’ve shared it. 🙂 I love them!
Sending positive thoughts for the upcoming week!
Your work is absolutely amazing
Thanks so much, Omah. 😊
You’re welcome
Hi Jane! Superb images and commentary as usual! My favourites are “Unfurling” and “Anticipation” and of course “Our Hope” which I assume is your grandaughter?
Thank you, Michael. So glad you enjoyed these. Yes, she’s our newest addition. 💞👶🏻
I knew she was special b/c you used 2 words to caption that photo!
And so many more! 💕👶🏻
Awesome content
Thank you , Drabumereherbs.
The world’s going to be different for that next generation, in ways we probably cannot imagine. But certain things will stay the same – the grace of unfurling seeds, the joy of raindrop-speckled flower buds, the quiet beauty of twilight, and the wonder in her eyes. Thanks for the respite, Jane, and the Anne Lamott quote – I like that one.
Hi Lynn, Thank you for your elegant and poetic response. You “get me”. ☺️💙
🙂 I appreciate your positivity – it’s not easy to hold onto in times like these.
It sure helps to have a supportive community.

Thanks, Jane!
Thanks so much, Adam. So glad you enjoyed especially my little granddaughter. She keeps me smiling. 🙂
Here in Calif. we are surrounded by fires and power outages, Covid and the contentious election…and somehow you have the strength and skill and stamina to create and present this soothing presentation bursting with hope. Wow, Jane, thanks so much. Every quote is different, and all are inspiring, and the photos are vivid and alive and bright and uplifting. I espec. like the first three photos, and the close-up of the loveable baby is heart-melting. Here’s to hope, my friend, it is what makes humans the extra-special mammal.
Jet, Your response to this post makes my day, thank you so much. There is a cathartic calm that comes with creating these themes and I’m glad you feel that it all hangs together. Spending time with our granddaughters does give us hope for them that our future will be better.
You sure have a way with words, my author friend! 🙂

Many beautiful pictures, Jane – of them all, the final one really does it for me, so gentle and subtle. Love the Einstein quote. Well, let’s hope for hope – starting with 3 Nov.

With you there, Jane. I think many of us are suffering severe “Covid-fatigue” by now.
Indeed. We can’t let up our guard. Best to you and your family.

Inspiring quotes and striking images combine for a most delightful post. I enjoyed the expressions in “Nesting”.
Thanks so much, Maj and Sher. Pleased you enjoyed and I appreciate your visit. The rookeries in South Carolina were a thrill to photograph. 🙂
Gotta love those curves in “Unfurling.”
Thanks, Steve. That’s a favorite from my South Carolina days. Glad you like it.
The pictures are beautiful as always but what we love more are the quotes. 🙂
Thank you, Beyond the U-turn. 🙂 I do love to develop a theme. So glad you like it.
What a visual delight your post gave me this afternoon! Your photos of God’s creation are truly outstanding and you always find the right quote to accompany them. Have a great Sunday, Jane!
That’s so nice to read, Peter. Thank you very much. Wishing you a great rest of your weekend. 🙂
So many beautiful photos, Jane! ❤️
Thank so much, John. Happy you enjoyed them!. 🙂
Love all your pictures and the associated title, great work!
That’s great to read, Stephen. Thanks very much! 😄
I full-on dig your interleaving the images with the quotes. They ho hand in hand. Like Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers… she’s just doing the same amazing moves backwards and in high heels. I resonate that I can’t figure out whether the images or the quotes are one or the other, and settle on… they are both, both. Excellent post, Jane. Just excellent.
Hi Jordan, What a wonderful analogy. Happy you like the combination. Thank you so much. 🙂 🙂
Hi Jane. You’re most welcome. 🙂 🙂
Lindas imagens!!!!
Obrigado, Renata. 🙂 🙂
Magina
Boa noite
Sigh… simply gorgeous, Jane. ❤
Oh, Eliza, thank you. I thought of you when I was going through these. ❤️
🙂 Thank you!
I just came across this quote, which seems apt:
“To experience sublime natural beauty is to confront the total inadequacy of language to describe what you see. Words cannot convey the scale of a view that is so stunning it is felt.” ~ Eleanor Catton
This is a wonderful quote, Eliza. Thank you for sharing it (as I copy and paste). 😘
Wow wow wow!!! Super!!! Your Hope is our hope, too! Thanks so much, Jane!
Thank you, Fabio! You give me hope. 😊
Your work is absolutely stunning! I hope to be able to photograph beautifully like you do one day.
Hi Sarah, I’m happy you enjoyed these. You’re very kind. Thanks so much.
