  7. Such a powerful image, Jane! It really ought to be on the cover of an inspiring biography of someone with a great love for the Sea, Surfing or San Francisco

  8. The bridge alone would have been a stellar image but the surfer adds the human element giving it scale although we already know the bridge is large. πŸ™‚ To someone with no knowledge of surfing that doesn’t seem like a very inviting place to do so.

    • Hi Steve, I’m always happy when I catch a human on the landscape for those reasons. This is a popular surfing spot – sometimes the winter waves are enormous and it’s harrowing watching them speed by near the rocks. Thanks very much!

  10. Great leading line, Jane. A statement to what the ‘humble’ human has created in his world.

  12. What a wonderful shot! This is cinematic, and every corner and space between engages the eye. Love this!
