  1. Traumhaft schöne Aufnahmen, Jane!

  2. All exceptional! I especially like the night shots and that Galen Rowell quote … I think of that one often.

  3. Incredibly elegant photos and reflections of this dazzling city, Jane. As a Bay Area resident, I am familiar with all of these scenes, and the many people and constant chaos of these venues, yet somehow you managed to find and present the peace and calm and beauty. Exquisite.

  4. What a wonderful trio of images, Jane – the reds tie it all together. And the bridge, of course! 😉 I love the drama of the first one, with all the “missing pieces.” Very cool!

  5. Love these

  6. stunning shots….what a GREAT EYE!! brilliant!!

  7. Really beautiful how you captured the reflections, day or night.

  8. Ahhh… you capture her so very, very well. Just makes me want to sigh and soak it in. That first image presented such a delightful puzzle in the first moment.

  9. When you think it cannot get any better, and then you show us these photos! Marvelous!

  10. These are wonderful – the second is so sharp, and the sky in the third is beautiful. Thanks, Jane!

  11. Wonderful images! That second one especially draws me in.

  12. Gorgeous light, Jane. I am noticing in the second image, “Tide pool reflections”, from the first third of the image to left, there is big piece of stranded wood ( I assume), which looks just like an alligator…

  13. Tide pool reflection is so clean and balanced. 😍

  14. Love the stark symmetry composition of the 2nd. picture!

  15. Beautiful images Jane 👍🏻

  16. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of our bridge.

  17. Stunning, Jane. I love the detail in “Tidepool Reflections”!

  18. Breathes there a photographer not taken with reflections?

  19. Not bad Jane, not bad at all…🙃

  20. “Upon Reflection”, gorgeous, gorgeous image. GGB doesn’t disappoint, ever. 🙂

    • Thank you so much, David. The reflections were so vivid that evening! I was looking forward to shooting more the next night and there were none. Happy you like this one, it was exciting to capture. 🙂

  21. Light, indeed, it can make of mar our perception so much. Beautiful demonstration of what your quotation suggests..

    • Thank you, Paula. You are so good at playing with light. Glad you like this trio- it’s incredible how dynamic it is in the city. I spend a lot of time looking for light, as I am sure you do, too. 🙂

  22. Hi,Jane. Happy Sunday. Thanks for sharing a stunning set of images. Have a great day. Goff

  23. Love your opener on this one Jane

  24. Interesting set of images, especially like the night scenes. I too love reflections.

  25. Three excellent shots! I don’t know if “surreal” is the right word for the 2nd tidal pool shot, but it’s just so eye-catching and fantastic.

  26. Jane….I just sit amazed at your effort of time (not to mention your sense of vision) that you put into producing images that inspire so many others. They have me in the process of getting off my arse and behind the camera once again. I carried my camera around the outside around my house. A little shooting at some things, but more just trying re-find my vision. Thanx for your visual & written encouragement….blessings….jw

    • Hi James, How are you feeling? I’m very happy to read your lovely comment- thank you so much- it means a lot coming from your artistic eye. I hope you are able to get out there shooting again soon. Around the house is a good place to start – I think creating art has a healing effect. Good luck and best wishes. 🙂
