  1. Such wonderful shots that give u a warm feeling of summer nature….quite amazing to lose yourself in😜

  2. Such beauty shared – thanks

  3. This is such a beautiful collection, Jane. A morning visit to your blog provides an inspiring start to my day!

  4. They all speak to me, but I think Father and Son time says it best. Einstein was right.

  5. Inspiring start to my day here with my granddaughter. Loved the picture of you with yours from your interview with Jane. Warm wishes.

  6. I didn’t know whether to take “My Mimi” as “My Me Me.”

  7. I feel that they are all lucky people, being in this gorgeous “home” of ours, in the big, open places. And you too, lucky to have been there and to be able to make photographs that carry the feeling out to the bigger world. Old Friends may be my favorite – I like a landscape that invites me in with something in the foreground, then takes me out…. Enjoy the rest of the weekend, Jane!

  8. I saw, that you are a Nikonlover too 😉 ..which lense do you prefer??

  9. your pictures are masterpieces !!! greatful !! I love the way you see things and landscapes !!

  10. A wonderful collection Jane! I love that you include people in each of the expansive beautiful scenes,

  11. Wilderness is necessary. Those mountain shots are glorious.

  12. It’s always nice to see people out, away from their various illuminated screens, and absorbing some of what nature offers us. And you’ve shown them in some wonderfully enriching landscapes. It’s a great combination. I don’t travel much, but I think I’d like to be in any and all of those places. Nice stuff, Jane.

  13. Awesome shots! I like the people in the photo for the human scale.

  14. Like your “My Mimi”. The shadow is like a hieroglyph.

    • Exactly, David. When I was living in Australia, I learned that the Aboriginal term for a rock painting is a “Mimi”. Couldn’t resist at these rocks there!
Thanks very much–glad you enjoyed them.

  15. Such a beautiful series of inspirational photos and quotes Jane.

  16. Fine pictures, Jane. Old Friends is staggering, knocks me flat. And Headlands Retreat is very impressive >>> and I very much like My Mimi!!! Adrian

  17. Simply awesome! Each and every image took me to a very special place!

  18. These are all so gorgeous Jane and now that I’ve been out to Northern CA some of the photos look familiar! Beautiful as always!

  19. As always; all amazing images Jane. The b&w “Father and Son Time” and “Meditate” are fantastic. You really inspire me to shoot more b&w. Thanks.

  21. Old Friends is such an impressive shot👍

  22. A lovely quote, Jane, and one I may use myself. Stunning photography as always. You are such an inspiration! I love the ‘My Mimi’ 🙂

  23. Some nice pics there. Your getting the hang of it 😉

  24. Fine set again, Jane. Like the quotes. ‘Headlands Retreat’ would fit very good in my People are Small series.. 🙂

  25. Inspiring….love your compositions! Love other’s perceptions of the beautiful world we do live in… bittersweet at present

  26. A beautiful collection Jane. Old Friends, Badlands, and Alone are my faves. I was checking the water for the second swimmer in Gone Swimming! I hope they didn’t drown 🙂

  27. quite the beautiful
    geographic adventure
    holiday, Jane 🙂

  28. A fabulous collection, the photos and words of wisdom you chose.
We’re hitting the road tomorrow for a short trip, and will be passing through a rainforest, crossing the Salish Sea, then through coastal mountains and the Rockies as we head to Cowtown and the foothills and prairies beyond. Some of your photos have whetted our appetite even more for the trip!
    Thanks, Jane.

    • Thank you, Adam. So important to renew and unplug in this crazy world. Your upcoming adventure sounds like a fantastic mix of landscapes and nature. Safe travels and hope you have a wonderful time! 🙂

  29. Time spent in nature is never wasted. Nor time spent enjoying your beautiful photographs, Jane!

  30. Alone and in a Fog—I can relate! These are beauties, Jane. The texture in the rocks and sand of the Meditate photo stands out for me.

  31. I really enjoyed these pictures. It likes you have small taste of nature from mountain to sea.. I especially like B&W meditate picture.

  32. Really enjoyed this incredible outdoor photo series, Jane. My goodness you brought us some beautiful and breathtaking vistas. Really enjoyed the quotes, too, from our nature gurus. While I like them all, my favorite today was the “Old Friends” photo of the two people and the tide pools/boulders on the beach.

    • Hi Jet, Pleased you enjoyed the combo…I love finding humans on the landscape. Escape is much needed these days.
Those old friends really are…my husband and a friend of 40 years strolling Cannon Beach together. 🙂 Thanks so much!

  33. Oh my, the USA has got it all and you know how to deal with it! Great, Romantic and true.

  42. You do nature justice, Jane.

  43. Wonderful. We are “home” in Switzerland.

  44. My Mimi is such an interesting shot, Jane, and who wouldn’t want to be up on Half Dome? I really love the stone circles one too. Fabulous stuff 😍💕
