  1. Looks like a fun day. Love the trump sign.

  2. You guys had a great, sunny day for the parade! I have to love Donald and David, they’re my faves. Would you believe the parade was on TV up here? I caught a little bit…always good to see Pride Energy!

  3. Great pics Jane…so colourful and filled with energy! I’m looking forward to capturing Vancouver pride next month (my 50th birthday gift for November has arrived early due to a sweet Nikon deal – 70-200 2.8!)

    • Hi Deb, Great to hear from you. Happy you enjoyed these photos- thank you- what a fantastic day in SF. I bet Vancouver pride will be wonderful… we will be passing through in August. A new 70-200– congrats- it’s a great lens. A long time favorite of mine that is feeling very lonesome since I switched systems to the Fuji X-T2 mirrorless. Happy shooting and hope you have a fun summer!

  4. GREAT vibrant….lively ….shots of the crowds….love the energy….😘

  5. Wonderful series, Jane! Love the fun you captured.

  6. Very colorful pictures.

  7. A beautiful day for so many colors, Jane. Your photos are as fabulous as ever.

  8. That was incomplete: straight but enjoy the not straight wordplay.

  9. Let’s get something straight I’m but certainly enjoy the non-straight

    • I do get your play on words, Abrie. You are always so clever! It was a fun day with a variety of humorous, touching and joyful signs and people. Glad you enjoyed– thank you! 🌈

  10. Great colours and the joy well caught and presented! Donald and David – you caught them two years before as well!

  11. Ah, what great colors and what a wonderful post!

  12. Great captures of a joyous event, Jane. I loved Donald and David!

  13. Loved you were able to shoot Donald and David again.

  14. You have chosen an important topic and I love how you organized a visually very complex event. All parades are complicated and this one is most complex and you fired out how to capture and compliment the moment.

    • Hi Bruce, That means a lot, thank you. Glad you enjoyed these- I hoped to capture the energy and joy.
You are right, it is visually complicated and I can attest to how many throwaways I shot!

  15. Wonderful images Jane πŸ™‚ I was at the NYC Pride Parade but as funny as it might sound I got more images of the crowd than the parade. I was there early enough and picked a spot which I thought would be great but it turned out to be a police hangout right in front of me when the parade started.

    • Hi Joe, Thanks so much!
I saw some of your terrific images of NY. The crowd is the best! You must have a lot of police officers in your shots. πŸ™‚
There were a million people in SF about 6 deep — it was a challenge but the energy was amazing! 🌈

  16. Beautiful and colorful πŸ™‚

  17. A gorgeous gallery of colour and happiness Jane. You have captured the spirit of the people

  18. Nicely done, Jane. All the shots are interesting but I loved the confetti shot.

  19. Jane,

    The COLOUR!

We have Donald coming over to see us on Friday 13th. I plan to join all the people who are going to show him how we feel about him. My first demo for over forty years! I’ll wear my rainbow laces as well.

  20. Absolutely amazing scenes at the Pride Parade, So colourful, so much joy. Love the confetti shot. Well timed and such clarity in that shot. Beautifully done, Jane. Love is love and we are all who we are πŸ™‚

  21. Just can’t help but love πŸ’• San Francisco! It’s really all about love! Favorite shot of the series was the guy with the sign: β€œDoes this ass make my country look small?”

  22. Fantastic impression of this beautiful (and well known) parade… (Amsterdam!) and I ❀ Donald and David!!

Love to hear what you think...
