Would you believe the parade was on TV up here? I caught a little bit…always good to see Pride Energy! Reply ↓ Deb Gale June 30, 2018 • 11:01 pm Great pics Jane…so colourful and filled with energy! I’m looking forward to capturing Vancouver pride next month (my 50th birthday gift for November has arrived early due to a sweet Nikon deal – 70-200 2.8!) Reply ↓ Jane Lurie June 30, 2018 • 11:15 pm Hi Deb, Great to hear from you. Happy you enjoyed these photos- thank you- what a fantastic day in SF. I bet Vancouver pride will be wonderful… we will be passing through in August. A new 70-200– congrats- it’s a great lens. A long time favorite of mine that is feeling very lonesome since I switched systems to the Fuji X-T2 mirrorless. Happy shooting and hope you have a fun summer! Reply ↓ Deb Gale July 1, 2018 • 9:15 am Hi Jane – I’m intrigued about your new system and will research it. Also wanted to say that we’re in town for the month of August, so if you have time and would like to meet up for a coffee or vino, just drop me an email at: firstname.lastname@example.org 🙂 Reply ↓ Jane Lurie July 1, 2018 • 9:21 am Thanks so much, Deb, that’s very nice. Glad you enjoyed these– thanks! 🌈 Reply ↓ camerapacker June 27, 2018 • 5:39 am You have chosen an important topic and I love how you organized a visually very complex event. All parades are complicated and this one is most complex and you fired out how to capture and compliment the moment. Reply ↓ Jane Lurie June 27, 2018 • 8:41 am Hi Bruce, That means a lot, thank you. Glad you enjoyed these- I hoped to capture the energy and joy. You are right, it is visually complicated and I can attest to how many throwaways I shot! Reply ↓ Joe June 27, 2018 • 5:29 am Wonderful images Jane 🙂 I was at the NYC Pride Parade but as funny as it might sound I got more images of the crowd than the parade. I was there early enough and picked a spot which I thought would be great but it turned out to be a police hangout right in front of me when the parade started. Reply ↓ Jane Lurie June 27, 2018 • 8:38 am Hi Joe, Thanks so much! I saw some of your terrific images of NY. The crowd is the best! You must have a lot of police officers in your shots. 🙂 There were a million people in SF about 6 deep — it was a challenge but the energy was amazing! 🌈 Reply ↓ joshi daniel June 27, 2018 • 4:00 am Beautiful and colorful 🙂 Reply ↓ Jane Lurie June 27, 2018 • 8:34 am Thanks so much, Joshi! 🌈 Reply ↓ pommepal June 27, 2018 • 3:52 am A gorgeous gallery of colour and happiness Jane. Reply ↓ Jane Lurie June 27, 2018 • 8:42 am Thanks so much, Jane. It was an inspiring and fun day! 🌈 Reply ↓ andyspriggs June 27, 2018 • 3:22 am Jane, The COLOUR! We have Donald coming over to see us on Friday 13th. I plan to join all the people who are going to show him how we feel about him. My first demo for over forty years! I’ll wear my rainbow laces as well. Andy x Reply ↓ Jane Lurie June 27, 2018 • 8:33 am Hi Andy, So glad you will be on the “greeting committee”! Wish I could be with you.
