  2. You guys had a great, sunny day for the parade! I have to love Donald and David, they’re my faves. Would you believe the parade was on TV up here? I caught a little bit…always good to see Pride Energy!

  3. Great pics Jane…so colourful and filled with energy! I’m looking forward to capturing Vancouver pride next month (my 50th birthday gift for November has arrived early due to a sweet Nikon deal – 70-200 2.8!)

    • Hi Deb, Great to hear from you. Happy you enjoyed these photos- thank you- what a fantastic day in SF. I bet Vancouver pride will be wonderful… we will be passing through in August. A new 70-200– congrats- it’s a great lens. A long time favorite of mine that is feeling very lonesome since I switched systems to the Fuji X-T2 mirrorless. Happy shooting and hope you have a fun summer!

  15. You have chosen an important topic and I love how you organized a visually very complex event. All parades are complicated and this one is most complex and you fired out how to capture and compliment the moment.

  16. Wonderful images Jane 🙂 I was at the NYC Pride Parade but as funny as it might sound I got more images of the crowd than the parade. I was there early enough and picked a spot which I thought would be great but it turned out to be a police hangout right in front of me when the parade started.

    • Hi Joe, Thanks so much!
I saw some of your terrific images of NY. The crowd is the best! You must have a lot of police officers in your shots. 🙂
There were a million people in SF about 6 deep — it was a challenge but the energy was amazing! 🌈

  20. Jane,

    The COLOUR!

We have Donald coming over to see us on Friday 13th. I plan to join all the people who are going to show him how we feel about him. My first demo for over forty years! I’ll wear my rainbow laces as well.
