  1. Wow!! Those water droplets are fabulous!

  2. I love both pictures, but the first one has a special effect with the raindrops on the window πŸ™‚ Well done, Jane!
    Warm regards, Heidi

  3. Isn’t it amazing how a “simple” man-made artifact can produce such fantastic visions?
    Thank you again Jane

  4. Wow, those rain drops became art!

  5. Hi Jane! The first lovely photo reminds me of an image from awhile back I believe you captured with a cellphone while driving on the bridge in the rain – which always sticks in my mind as a fav.
The two major colors adjacent to each other on the second are stunning – The artsy β€˜color wheel’ is smiling … ! (While the food pyramid may have changed, the ole art class color wheel will prob safely remain πŸ™‚

    • Thank you, Diane! And for remembering my bridge and rain image. So nice. These two were a perfect contrast of weather in a week. I’m so glad your color theory came back with the second. πŸ™‚ It works!

  6. These images are gorgeous, Jane.

  7. Wow, just… wow! The second image is great! But the first one, the droplets on fire… wow, that’s an amazing picture! Glad I’ve found your website πŸ˜‰

    • Hi Bjorn, How nice! Thank you so much– those two contrasting images made for a great week of photography. Glad you like them and I appreciate you stopping by and thank you for following me! πŸ™‚

  8. This is beautiful! Makes me miss California…

  9. Droplets on the window pane at sunset, seriously beautiful, Jane. πŸ™‚

  10. I know it’s wordless, but what am I looking at outside of your window?

  11. Just beautiful, Jane.
I love the way rain changes the look of things in such a wonderful way.

  12. Glorious sunset through the raindrops. Beautiful sky after the day is done. Well done, Jane!

  13. Gee, I think it’s rain AND shine, and they’re brought together beautifully in that first photo Jane. And I like the way the boat’s wake echoes the bridge cable lines. Happy weekend to you!

    • Thank you, Lynn. You’re right, it’s both in the first. πŸ™‚ Happy you enjoyed and I love your comparison in the second. You have all the angles. πŸ™‚ Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

  14. I really love the picture with all the droplets.
    Amazing work.

  15. The colors are awesome. The technique and framing in the first picture is even more remarkable.

  16. Wonderful photos Jane, the colour and texture in the first shot is particularly striking!

  17. Thanks (again) for the reminders of why I fell in love with The City and the Bridge! You do manage to distill the essence of the charm and beauty of the great city by the bay.

  18. Love your rain shot Jane – wonderfully creative and the colors are perfect. Your muse should be proud of herself πŸ™‚

  19. That first one is so delicious!

  20. This photography always fascinates me and leads me to places that my imaginary creates. thank you so much.

  21. Always beautiful and striking. A perfect pair.

  22. When I look at your awesome images and skip the titles I see a sunrise after a heavy rain in the night and a fisherman who is leaving SF heading towards the ocean (even if it is the wrong direction). Wonderful examples of storytelling images, Jane. The focus in #1 is spot on the rain drops and the color flow from warm to cold in #2 is excellent. You were at the right place, at the right time. Happy days. Reinhold

    • Hi Reinhold, It means so much to read your analysis. The one thing we share is knowing that words aren’t always needed to tell a story. I like to let the viewer come to his or her own conclusion without doing the describing for them and you have done that so beautifully. Thank you very much and I hope you have a wonderful weekend creating images. πŸ™‚

  23. Super images, love ’em. Brian

  24. Always there and always beautiful πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Have a great weekend, Jane.

  25. really gorgeous shots…sunset after the rain is quite spectacular….love the details….great eye!!

  26. Very beautiful images, Jane, the first one is an aw-moment

  27. That opening photo takes me right back to my highschool days, lying on my bed in my parents’ house, in awe through the drops on the window at the might of an African thunderstorm, and without a care in the world…

  28. These photos are so beautiful! Well done!

  29. Two very beautiful photographs, Jane!

  30. Jane, These are just outstanding!! You should be so proud with where you have gone with your photography.

  31. That is such an incredibly beautiful picture of the bridge! I also love the rain spotted window shot.

  32. wonderful storys jane.
    greetings robert

  33. Very nice work Jane! You always manage to find a special way of approaching a theme. You’re a great artist.

  34. As beautiful as the photo of the bridge is, I am blown away by the first photo of the sunset through the raindrops. I cannot remember seeing anything like it before now. Outstanding work, Jane. Wow.

  35. Jane, Long time no see or speak………………still in Charleston and still selling real estate.
I think you are a master of composition. I love cleaness of the shots and lighting as well. I would think you could sell many of these photos for commercial purposes…….even if you have no desire to do so. I love the feel of these recent photos……they seem to be down to the essence of the beauty that is in front of you.

I really, really like what you have shown in the group. Love to hear where all you and Bob have traveled recently…………..I am envious.

  36. Your photography is really wonderful, Jane. πŸ™‚

  37. Like honey..

Love to hear what you think...
