At the blue hour I dance in the moonlight,
glitter with the stars.
The hours between moon and sun,
take me to another world
where the fantasy still lives
until the moon manages to the other side
and the sun rises again.
Go with the day until the next moon.
Nice shots, Jane! Nice shots, Jane! Love the “Super Blue Blood Moonset” and “Awaiting The Moon”.

Beautiful night and moon captures Jane! I’m so glad to see you got out there! What a great location for the moon too. I scouted for a location several days preceding and the eclipse/blood moon ended up under clouds and a bust. Then, after all that I ended up with the best shot of the super moon from the end of my driveway.

HI Denise, Sorry you had cloud cover but glad that you got your shot. (you could have stayed in your PJs! 🙂 )
I had it fairly easy taking them from my window… 😁It was really a thrill especially when I managed to get a few clear ones– we were lucky that the forecasted fog stayed away. Thanks so much and I’m happy you enjoyed the images.

Beautiful series. When the eclipse reached totality, the moon was hanging pretty low in the sky from my vantage point. It was also the darkest eclipse I’d seen. Then, it disappeared behind the mountains.

Jane! Great work – you planned and were set up, I assume, and then the weather cooperated, and you were inspired. It must have been terrific to watch the progression, the changing colors… The “Goodnight Moon” photo is one you must print – can I say it’s an instant classic, or does that sound too trendy? I love the soft tones in the final image, the Super Blue Blood Moonset’s subdued shades and balanced composition, the gorgeous Klein blues in “Lunar Eclipse at the Blue Hour.” A delight!

Hi Lynn, Thank you so much. Yes, had the tripod set up…I was a bit bleary eyed for sure, and was fumbling…but that adds to the excitement. You have a great eye to notice all the changes in light and color…it was marvelous to watch. The Blue Hour was gorgeous and then the sun rose behind me and the moon started glowing as it set. Super BB Moonset was featured by the GG Nat. Park on their IG which was fun. Appreciate your thoughtful reaction. 🙂 I heard it was raining up north?
