  2. Every time I see shadows I think in the sensual nature of them as they caress the surfaces with a velvety touch and make the shapes visible to us, as an exotic make up. Your shadows has this beautiful nature, Jane, wonderful patterns in its silence.

  6. You’ve done well to convert all your pictures in black and white so that the shadows are more pronounced. I like the abstract of the lines but my favorites are also “Vines and Lines” , “What Floor?” and “Pipe”.

    • Thank you, Brian. Spotting them is something that happens to be in the forefront my mind. Conversely, for me, it’s all about looking for the light. Glad you enjoyed this series.

      • I did. It is a matter of training the eye. I tend to “notice” things many people don’t see. And shoot. I have become very sensitive to light lately because we moved into a new neighbourhood, with colonial houses and colours. So the same… house changes altogether depending on the time of day and the light. 🙂
(I just need to train myself to think shadows…)
        Have a great week-end Jane

    • Hi Lisa, I’m so glad you like that one. Interesting that you wondered– I really like the color version, too, but decided to do a completely monochrome post so it didn’t make it this time. Someday soon… 🙂 Thank you for your kind reaction.
