It Takes Two

Piglet sidled up to Pooh from behind.

“Pooh!” he whispered.

“Yes, Piglet?”

“Nothing,” said Piglet, taking Pooh’s paw. “I just wanted to be sure of you.”

  15. Fabulous set of images, Jane. I love that first quote that seems so apt for the images that follow. And the concept of silence with friends – when words are superfluous when faced with a glorious view.

    • Hi Jude, Glad you enjoyed these, thanks so much. Funny you noticed that- he had just made his necklace and was proud of it. There were many eyes on him in the class (including mine) so it was safe, although you are right about possible hazards. It does remain one of my favorites– I have a whole series of kids playing against that colorful backdrop.

  29. A wonderful collection of images representing friendship, I love them, particularly the first one with the little boys. I love the way his little hands are curled in anticipation of his friends reaction. Beautifully captured. Where these shot over a period of time, or all in one day?

    • Hi Karen, These portraits were taken at various times over the years. The one that you mentioned was a day spent at a friend’s son’s preschool- such fun. All of these are special to me for the memories of the moments. The little girls are my great nieces. Thanks so much for enjoying.
