  3. Not till I was in the Bay area in the first days of November did I realize that the leaves of cultivated grape vines change color in the fall. I understand why you were taken with the sight.

  14. ah, there’s some wistfulness in this post (at least for me). The beautiful grape vines are gone. And yet, there is also something to look forward to – the grapes’ return. 🙂 Life goes on in its cyclical way.

  27. You do live in an incredibly beautiful part of the world Jane. These are gorgeous. When I was 17, I packed my bags and headed off to Switzerland to help bring in the grape harvest on the banks of lake Geneva. An experience I shall never forget. These scenes are very reminiscent. 🙂

  37. Stunning vineyards down in CA. Love the Pinot Noir and On The Vine shots. the leaves and grapes are absolutely glistening with so much light, like they come across as crystals. So tempting to pick those grapes too. I’m guessing they are nothing short of juicy and even more juicy 🙂 Well done all round, Jane 🙂
