  3. Such a great series and I was thrilled to see your take on Kiawah Island along with what I know of Tina’s view ~ simply beautiful. The dew and spiders web captured the lighting so well, but hard to pick a favorite here.

  8. Something about the early morning dew decorating spider webs, fragile stalks, and sweetgrass is just as autumnal as all those changing leaf colors. Were there a lot of butterflies on Kiawah island?

    • Hi BT- There are loads of butterflies on Kiawah and it’s such fun to try and capture them which isn’t so easy when they’re flitting. It’s a gorgeous time of year in SC and I’m glad you liked this seasonal tribute. Thank you so much.

  14. Another beautiful set of nature photos, Jane. My favourite would have to be the daybreak reflection one. The symmetry is absolutely on point. Love that Emrson quote you shared. There’s always a silver lining to every situation, always a way out and it often presents itself when we least expect it.

I like the butterfly shot a lot too. It screams “fresh” right after a bit of rain 🙂

    • Hi Diana- And this little guy was nice enough to pose for quite a while. Love them, too. Sunrises in October are thankfully a little later for the not-so-early riser. 🙂 So good to hear from you– thank you!
