Richard Misrach, a Bay Area photographer whom I admire, has a beautiful portfolio of the Golden Gate Bridge shot from his home in the Berkeley Hills over the course of four years.
I, too, am inspired daily by the dynamic views of the Golden Gate. In this series, my boundary is simply my window. The rest I leave to timing and the ever-changing spectacle of weather and light surrounding the bridge.

Beautiful photos of the sky and GGB from a distance.
You can see a lot from your windows. It negates the need to go on the roof, not unless you do a Bay Area 360 Degrees series. 🙂
