The moment is held until someone sees it. Then it is theirs.”

  1. This is beautiful–and making the image wall-to-wall really underscores the patterning.
The quotation at the top of the page is a keeper. Spot on.

  2. Lovely lighting on this one Jane-looks almost like an abstract. And quote is just perfect. Beautifully done.

  3. You’ve created an impressive texture.

  4. I love the way you framed this and the B&W is just right

  5. Love how the delicacy of the succulents has not been lost in your monochromatic take.

  6. Isn’t it wonderful how monochrome brings out the shadows and textures?
    Lovely!

  7. Beautifully captured and processed. You have really managed to bring out those organic and soft forms of succulents.

  8. Beautiful image Jane. The B&W really brings out the patterns and shapes!

  9. Such a cool texture effect in your photo!

  10. Love it in B&W, has a elegant quality about it.

  11. B&W is great for portraying these little guys ….love how they fill the frame!!!

  12. Jane, it really does look wonderful (and different) in B&W. I like it a lot. Love the quote as well.

  15. Hello Jane,,,I have so enjoyed all of your photos..starting with Barcelona and, especially the Golden Gate Bridge…and then we saw the “copy” in Lisbon. I love seeing what we have already seen….and then to learn from what we have not. We used at least five of your restaurant suggestions in Barcelona and thought the Majestic was The best. Thanks for all your pictures and suggestions… Lee Anne Sent from my iPad
