  1. I like that shot of the three chefs in the kitchen. Very storybook.

  2. I would really love churros and chocolate now please 🙂

  3. Hola Jane, si haces una ruta gastronómica por los pueblos de España, te quedas para siempre…..
Me alegra que lo hayas pasado bien Un saludo

  4. OMG……what can I say but YUM!!! You know they say that ‘food’ photography is the most difficult of all….U nailed it girlfriend!!!

  5. Great shots. I loved the perspective of the churros and cholocate. Makes me want some right now!

  6. A lovely set. But how did you get into the Segovia kitchen to take those great shots?

  7. lovely pictures but i’m getting hungry 😀

  8. I can taste the churros from here!

  9. Delightful! Seeing the Seranos hanging there makes me question my vegetarian future. That and manchego cheese mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Thanks for the memories! Loved it there.

    • HI Bob, How nice to hear from you. Agree on both food groups! Happy I brought back some tasty memories and I’m glad you’ve been. It is a feast in many ways! Thanks so much for letting me know.

  10. Wow, what a great food travelogue. You’ve got my mouth watering!

  11. So many tantalizing possibilities on the menu!

  12. Great shots Jane……but you’re now making me hungry

  13. Yummy! Great shots Jane. Spain is definitely on my travel list.

  14. love the kitchen shots makes me want to be there

  15. Ah the chocolate & churros of Madrid. They were delicious though I must admit that I was unable to finish my cup of chocolate because it was way too rich. Nice set of images. (Suzanne)

    • Aren’t they the best, Suzanne? They must be fresh out of the kitchen and I agree, the cup of chocolate was intense…. mostly dipped. Glad this brought back some delicious memories. Thanks.

  16. Love the biscuit and coffee! ….also the different feeling between the color and b&w. Suzie

  17. So great, lucky for me I just eaten otherwise I would have gone really bananas over these delicious photos.

  18. Yum! Yum! Delicious photos

  19. did that little piggy serve you some barbecue!!! Love the pics!

    • Good one, Linda. That restaruant in Segovia had an historic ritual of a man announcing the suckling pig, reading a proclamation, cutting the pig with the side of a plate then breaking the plate on the floor! (touristy but fun to see) Glad you enjoyed, thanks.

  20. Wonderful snaps. Love the first one – that is one happy bartender. Those churros look delicious. I hope you had quite a few 😉

    • Hi Mabel– The bartender was a hoot. He ran this popular tapas bar like a well oiled machine. People line up their famous Tortilla Española and tomato salad. Great fun to see him work. And, the churros…oh, dear, I had a quite a few..😉 Thanks so much for enjoying.

  21. These could easily be used in a food fancy magazine!! Beautifully done… (but I’d rather see the little piggy running around)

    • Hi Noortje- Aren’t you kind, I appreciate it– that would be a fun assignment! Agree, the whole piggy is a sight on the platter, but I had to include the traditional dish.
      Thanks for your nice comment.
