  15. Ah the chocolate & churros of Madrid. They were delicious though I must admit that I was unable to finish my cup of chocolate because it was way too rich. Nice set of images. (Suzanne)

    • Good one, Linda. That restaruant in Segovia had an historic ritual of a man announcing the suckling pig, reading a proclamation, cutting the pig with the side of a plate then breaking the plate on the floor! (touristy but fun to see) Glad you enjoyed, thanks.

  20. Wonderful snaps. Love the first one – that is one happy bartender. Those churros look delicious. I hope you had quite a few 😉

    • Hi Mabel– The bartender was a hoot. He ran this popular tapas bar like a well oiled machine. People line up their famous Tortilla Española and tomato salad. Great fun to see him work. And, the churros…oh, dear, I had a quite a few..😉 Thanks so much for enjoying.

    • Hi Noortje- Aren’t you kind, I appreciate it– that would be a fun assignment! Agree, the whole piggy is a sight on the platter, but I had to include the traditional dish.
      Thanks for your nice comment.
