  1. Wonderful shots, Jane. I have surfed through your Spanish posts now. I have to come back. I am going to Bilbao in October. When were you there?

  2. Excellent shots, and I like those quotes.

  3. Wonderful set Jane -full of expression!

  4. Good stuff – but what else can I expect from your work, Jane!?

  5. A wonderful collection of images.

  6. This is really where photography holds the trump card: it has the ability to capture that particular active moment in time forever. The mists suspended in air of the Yellowstone geyser are beautiful.

  7. Wonderful! Perfect! Great! Amazing!

  8. The human wave – perfect Jane!

  9. A wonderful view of the world in action!

  10. As always, a beautiful set of images. Personally, still images that capture the sense of movement and action are my favorite kind of photos.

  11. You certainly caught some wonderful moments ” in action” … Love the children!

  12. this is such amazing, powerful and cheerful presentation!

  13. just FANTASTIC shots!!!! Just adore let’s play…..how the heck did u catch these images??? Just mind boggling!!

  14. I like them all, well and sensitively ‘shot’. My fav is: Let’s run..the colour palette of that is just corgeous.

    • Hi Paula, Glad you like that shot– was shooting at a friend’s son’s preschool and that rock wall covered in paint provided a perfect colorful backdrop. What a fun time. Thanks so much!

  15. Capturing the power and beauty of waves breaking on a rocky shoreline was what drew me to photography, and the wave breaking in Mendocino is spectacular!

  16. A lovely collection of motion pictures!

  17. Thanks Jane. Wonderful vitality captured here. Regards thom

  18. Love the kids best, Jane–no one can express pure joy better than a child. Wonderful captures of those moments.

  19. Wonderful gallery of motion for the challenge. And I enjoy your accompanying quotations.

  20. Great series ~ have thought about traveling through the Badlands, and the shot you have there is the reason why. Brilliant 🙂

    • Hi Randall- We finally got to the Badlands a couple of years ago and I was astounded how beautiful it is. One of my favorites of all the parks. If you search Badlands on my blog or website, you’ll see some more favorites. Hope you go there someday soon. Thanks so much.

      • Great, I will have to check them out. I was introduced to the Badlands via the music of Springsteen ~ and never truly realized how beautiful it was. I look forward to the day I am experiencing it for real 🙂

  21. Great set of photos Janie. Hard to pick a favorite one, they are all excellent. Have a great weekend!

  22. Thank you for reviving memories of Yellowstone and the Badlands.

Love the photos of kids movingm, specially the last one. Kids are always moved with an energy that has practically no limit, until sleep does them in. Was contemplating a small girl, yesterday morning, walking with her mother, jumping with both feet in every puddle on the sidewalk. My grand-daughter is the same.

A good set of photos !

  23. Love these examples of motion, Jane. They’re tip-top! 🙂

  24. Capturing motion, very well done Jane. Kids jumping in Australia has to be my favorite, followed by let’s run. Thanks for the upper!!

  25. This is a brilliant collection – thank you for sharing! 🙂

Love to hear what you think...
