  6. Hi Jane – love the photos. As a Victorian, the photos along the Great Ocean Road – built as part of a government jobs program during the Great Depression – give me a sense of pride and nostalgia. As a child in the 1970s, we travelled along that road and stayed in places like Port Campbell. Some of my own early photos were of the Twelve Apostles and as a kid I walked across the intact London Bridge! It collapsed into the sea several years ago when, luckily, no one was on it!     • Stephen – It is really wonderful to read your story of childhood memories in Victoria. I can imagine how fun it was to have such magical places to explore as a child. I read that two people were trapped on the other side of the bridge when it collapsed and had to be rescued. Can you imagine that experience? Thank you very much for your kind comment.
