Thanks so much, Milka. Aspens are so beautiful. I missed the leaves turning by a week or so…too bad.

I can imagine leaf turning is a hard thing to time. Better luck next year, maybe? You can still go on the East Coast soon for the beautiful fall foliage.

Hi David, I hope you are safe from all the flooding. Thank you for your comment and I do hope you make it to Maroon Bells sometime. It is magnificent. It would have been even better with snow, but I am too early for that treat.

We’re quite safe from the flooding. Wintertime would seem to be the ideal time to visit there, especially when it’s bone-chilling cold. That’s when you have the place nearly to yourself.

Thank you, Babsje. Glad you like the abstract- a different take on the grove. Emerson’s quote hit home, especially when it comes to nature photography, as you know!

You’re welcome. That abstract is a bold risk, it takes the iconic tree photo to another level entirely. Looks like you had a great morning walk.

Babsje- You’re right– I love abstracts but they are tricky. Takes a number of times before a get one that I really like. It was a great walk- thanks.
