  1. Very interesting! Love that first one of Tupelo in particular.

  2. I like that you are inspired by painters. Great photos. As a novice, I can only admire your perfect pictures. Also, I wish my springtime looked like your spring.

  3. Wonderful photos ! When i start looking at them my thoughts went straight to Claude Monet ! I think he is one of the major impressionists … And you seems to go in his footsteps, using a camera instead of paint and brushes … // Maria

  4. Jane, these are truly wonderful. That first image is glorious!

  5. Oh, I like the swamp picture (the color one). Very cool looking! The grass blades are very nice too.

  6. If you knew how my eyes delight seeing your photos! Thank you.

  7. The Impressionists are my favourite artists, most specifically Monet, and I enjoyed your quotes and photos. I have played around with my photos as well and sometimes am rewarded with an impressionistic feel to them.

  8. Interesting what the camera can do. Also a complement to my present reading about Renoir – Luncheon of the Boating Party! Keep exploring and sharing the quotes!

  10. These are so fun to do! Great work and imagination!

  11. Adore the Matisse quote and you did an admirable job of bringing all the “news” fit to see to your loyal followers. As always, thank you for sharing. It’s nice to have a touch of spring, since it’s so slow to arrive here this year.

  12. Captivating, azalea burst would be a beautiful fabric for a dress!

  13. Amazing shote. The Iris leaves look transparent.

  14. You captured with your camera what Monet did with a paint brush… Awesome.. Tupelo Impressions is quite the example! Linda

  15. I love these images. I was just reading about Monet earlier while researching something on Venice. Check out “San Giorgio Maggiore at Dusk” by Monet.

  16. Beautiful and interesting.

  17. Love Tupelo impressions! I would frame and hang on my wall!

Love to hear what you think...
