A Time of Thanks, A Time of Giving

With Thanksgiving week upon us in the United States, I am thinking about all the things for which I am grateful. I am also thinking of  those who are less fortunate, in need of assistance or a hot meal.

Thank you to all who help others– whether it is donating food and clothing, feeding the hungry, teaching, volunteering or making charitable donations. Acts of  kindness, no matter how small, will make a positive difference in the lives of others.

  7. Happy Thanksgiving to you in the US from here in the UK. And thanks for this post. I am thinking alot about gratitude at the moment. Apparently studies show that those who cultivate an attitude of gratitude are 25 percent happier than those who don’t so it’s a win win situation isn’t it?

I love the Abraham Lincoln quote.
