Serenity Now

In the words of  Frank Costanza, on Seinfeld, “Serenity Now!”

These are the words that my wonderful family and friends might be saying after the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy. In my home state of New Jersey, as you know, many are enduring extreme flooding and days without power, heat and water. People in the greater New York region are facing situations that they never imagined could happen.

I am thinking of you all every day.

Here are some photographs that may help bring down your blood pressure, make you smile or give you a moment of tranquility. I send my warm wishes for a quick recovery to you all.

  1. The black and white is definitely soothing – I never thought of that before. Although the alligator might not be lowering anyone’s blood pressure! 🙂 BEAUTIFUL! 🙂

  6. I like how the little shack in “Tranquil Morning on Honey Pond, VT” acts as a focal point. It’s so small compared to the nature around it, but really draws in attention.

  7. Sometimes things are just best seen in black and white! Being in touch with our BASIC needs is important. I’m sure many took heart and were consoled by your images.
