Three’s A Charm
Threes catch my eye. I am drawn to the symmetry and composition of subjects in threes. As I culled through my images, I realized that a red and green theme was developing — perfect for some holiday cheer!

Three Bells and Me, Chiang Mai
“I have just three things to teach: simplicity, patience, compassion. These three are your greatest treasures.” Lao Tzu

Three Friends, Bangkok
“Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the truth” ~ Buddha

Window Seat, Bangkok
“There are three classes of people: those who see, those who see when they are shown and those who do not see.” ~ Leonardo da Vinci

Three Dancers, Dubrovnik, Croatia
“By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.” ~ Confucius

Standing Tall, Patagonia
“They say a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.” ~Tom Bodett

Estancia Roofs, Patagonia
“When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened.” John M. Richardson, Jr.

Red Orchids Three, Chiang Mai, Thailand
“In three words I can sum up everything I’ve learned about life: it goes on.” ~ Robert Frost

April, I’ve loved this scene and thought it would be effective to leave his shorts red against the black and white. I’m glad it worked for you. Thanks so much for appreciating and glad you liked the quotes, too!
